Born in Guatemala City in 1964. From childhood his interests had a strong inclination to artistic expression, but until 1979 that their concerns is the guidance of a teacher in the "Outdoor School Cerro Del Carmen" who referred to the National School of Fine Arts where he received a scholarship to undertake studies on the formation of renowned masters such as Zipacná De León Rodríguez, Dagoberto Vásquez, Roberto Vizcaíno and Victor Vasquez Kestler among others. Flor de Maria remained outstanding participation in domestic competitions where he received 12 awards in painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, landscape, line art, decorative art and technical drawing. For 5 years he taught 3 different courses in the same National School of Plastic Arts, in addition perform a task-art training in different schools and now has over 20 years experience in teaching and cultural promotion. He has participated in the restoration of stained glass from the National Palace of Culture, has been a member of the jury on two occasions Painting Competition organized nationally by Alliance Française de Guatemala, has produced murals in two study centers in the capital. A date has 8 solo exhibitions and participated in various national and international exhibitions, his works are in private collections in Guatemala, India, Mexico, Italy, France, United States of America, Venezuela and others. From 2008 lives in France to devote her time between personal artistic expression and restoration of works of art in different techniques.
